Description

This pad is a suitable size for the 16½”and 17″ THV Saddling Junior Robin saddles. The shape works for both the GPD and GPJ styles.

Our Cushion Quilt Pad made to work with the Robin saddles.

This Cushion Quilt pad has the same great design features found in the full sized version. Providing comfort for the pony. The features include our special, high density, medium length, wool-fleece in a shape that sits under the whole panel area of the pony saddles.
Well positioned and easy to use fastening straps, help to keep the pad in position under the saddle.

A strip of the loop side of a hook/loop fastening system is sewn along the length of the pad, in order to secure any of the pony sized, THV Saddling ‘Add-On’ Pads (JB pads and Remedial Pads).

For ponies with good, well developed backs, the minimum padding that should be used under a Constructively ‘fitted’ THV Saddling Pony saddle, is one of these saddle pads and one of the Pony sized JB pads.

For a Pony who has less healthy muscle along the back, a Remedial method of working with a saddle and pads is necessary in order to help them to recover. In this case, the use of the Pony sized Base Pad, on top of the Wool-Fleece Saddle Pad, may be necessary.

If you have a non-THV Saddling saddle and want to know if this pad would be the right size to use with it, please see the dimensions shown below.
